Common Questions

What you need to know

Eligibility3 questions

Who can access services?

  • Services are available to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, and other crimes. I serve individuals of all genders who are 18 years of age or older within the designated service area.

  • No. A police report or formal documentation is not required to access services. You do not need to have filed a report or have any official paperwork to begin receiving support.

  • It means your goals, your pace, and your priorities guide the work. Services are tailored to your unique circumstances — not a one-size-fits-all program. You decide what support looks like for you.

Referrals & Access3 questions

How to get started

  • Referrals may be made by phone or email. Self-referrals are also accepted — you can reach out directly on behalf of yourself without going through another agency or provider.

  • Ongoing services, including case management, are typically initiated within 48 hours of initial contact, depending on current capacity. I work to reduce barriers and get support in place as quickly as possible.

  • Yes. Referrals from attorneys, agencies, healthcare providers, and other community partners are welcome. The referred individual will still be contacted directly to ensure services are client-centered and voluntary.

Costs & Fees2 questions

Fees and accessibility

  • Services are $40 per hour. A sliding scale is available to ensure accessibility whenever possible — cost should not be a barrier to getting support.

  • The sliding scale adjusts the hourly rate based on your financial situation. If the standard rate is a barrier, reach out and we can discuss what is workable for your circumstances.

What to Expect3 questions

Working together

  • Each relationship is different. Some clients need help with a specific court date or appointment; others benefit from ongoing case coordination over weeks or months. We start by understanding your situation and identifying where support would be most useful.

  • Trauma-informed practice means I recognize the impact of trauma on your life and approach every interaction with that awareness. It means no judgment, no pressure, and a commitment to your safety and autonomy throughout our work together.

  • Yes. Participation is always voluntary. You can pause, change the scope of support, or end services at any time — no explanation required.
